Director, Sales and Marketing IT

Accountor Group is building a brand new IT Function to support the group’s growth. Therefore, we are now looking for hard-core talents with hunger, views and skills to build a totally novel IT capabilities to support business growth. Every team member will have their own area of responsibility that they will define a strategy and create and implement new practices for.

If you consider yourself as such a person and in addition have strong project management skills, are an expert on sales, marketing and communication processes and corresponding technologies and have excellent co-operation and network management skills, you might be the person we are looking for to the position


Your main area of responsibility will be creating a strategy of a cohesive IT capability that supports Accountor’s Group sales and marketing functions across all operating countries. You will work towards creating an environment where disruptive and iterative innovation thrive and the business delivers game changing solutions to market. Furthermore, you will create and implement an IT roadmap that supports the sales and marketing function usage of modern technology whilst optimizing the CRM and digital marketing systems across the Accountor Group. You know you have succeeded when productivity of IT overall as a function has improved, internal resources and selected external vendors are used efficiently and you have delivered in accordance to the budget with associated benefits delivery tracking. You will report to the Group CIO.

You will co-operate daily both with your team members from the Group IT function and with different stakeholders inside the Group and external service providers. An important part of your job is change management – you will influence and consult different stakeholders in matters concerning sales and marketing IT to reach your targets. You will co-operate closely with the top management and support them in making better decisions concerning issues related to digital sales and marketing. One of your main tasks will be ensuring that the development of the Sales and Marketing IT landscape is transformational in its ambition and supports the delivery of the business growth targets. Some examples of other work tasks are negotiation of service level agreements with service providers and monitoring service delivery to ensure the agreed targets are met, aligning the resource management strategy to business priorities and maintaining robust development roadmap. You will work in a dynamic environment and lead several projects simultaneously under strict timelines.

To be successful in this position we see that you need to have:

  • Ability to manage networks, remote workers and change
  • Strong IT-project management skills
  • Expert knowledge of sales, marketing and communication processes and corresponding modern technologies and solutions
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience of digital marketing, CRM and related technologies
  • Some technical expertise with practical, hands on experience in IT development to handle the most complex IT programs and the ability to develop complex IT solutions
  • Fluent Finnish and English, knowing other Scandinavian languages is an advantage
  • Previous experience in Agile and LEAN methods is seen as an advantage

Your office will be located in the Group management office in the Helsinki area. The work requires occasional traveling to Accountor’s country offices (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, and Netherlands).
